If that is done, how will you get an answer to this question, posted after your request here? :)

done. how will you get an answer to this question, posted after your request here? Not having an account doesn't prevent anybody from reading, only from making followup posts.. and if a user wants to go, that's his/her prerogative. However, deleting a posting history is out of the question because it breaks existing threads and has an influence on posts by other members. A member has the ability to delete his posts manually, but you should part from the premise that anything you post is recorded and you can't go back in time to undo it.

A question to the Doom9 community:
What could have convinced neo to leave like that? Neo has been around for over a year and a half, before I even joined the Doom9's Forum, and I've known his posts (over 200, I believe) to be pretty good contributions to the Doom9 community. Has anyone insulted him recently or anything like that? Has anyone given him cause to pack up and go?
It's just that I usually don't see things like this happening without external cause.
Anyway, perhaps just my misguided thoughts.

What could have convinced neo to leave like that? This discussion (which can only end up in unfounded speculation) is entirely inappropriate, this isn't a rainbrow press forum.

Okay then ;). I was just a tad curious, lol, but you're right. My last words on the matter: "Rainbows are pretty!!" (I wrote a [bad] essay on that once)... :D
